David M. Trinnes
Committed advocate turns his efforts to courtrooms in Northern Virginia
David M. Trinnes has transferred a lifetime of advocacy to the courtroom. Starting with health advocacy in college, he became a leader in Ohio’s tobacco counter-marketing campaign, educating youth on the dangers of tobacco use, eventually working at the national level with the American Legacy Foundation. During law school, he served as the Lieutenant Governor of Mental Health for the American Bar Association’s 7th Circuit, raising awareness among law students about substance abuse dangers in the legal profession and available assistance options. Prior to joining The Leiser Law Firm David worked as a law clerk for the American Bar Association’s Governmental Affairs Office, reporting on legal, legislative, and policy issues affecting the legal profession.
Dedicated lawyer volunteers services to help small business owners
David regularly volunteers with the District of Columbia Bar’s Community Economic Development Project, helping small business owners with business formation, taxation, real estate leases and employment law issues. He also participates with the Legal Services of Northern Virginia’s Neighborhood Outreach Program, traveling to client sites throughout Northern Virginia to provide legal advice and referral information in civil matters.
