Annulments

Annulments can be granted in certain rare instances, including in cases where the marriage was not properly solemnized or where one party was still married to someone else (bigamy), as well in cases where a person finds out that their spouse was a prostitute or felon prior to the marriage, is pregnant by another person at the time of marriage, or is impotent. In most cases Annulments must be sought within two years of the date of marriage.
